Event Driven Film Restoration

The acronym EDFIRE stands for Event Driven Film Restoration. The R&D project started May 2019. Together with the German company Cube-Tec International, well-known for their high-end video & audio tools, the EDFIRE research team will develop new technology to automate and streamline the restoration and correction of film and video defects based on sensoric data generated by Cube-Tec’s migration solutions.
