The fully automatic filters help you eliminate dust and dirt with very little effort. For more difficult image defects, our Click & Fix technology provides easy-to-use tools to help you manually erase vertical lines, stains, punch holes, and other unwanted artifacts in single frames.
Every change you make with DustBuster+ is recorded as metadata. That means no permanent changes are made to your film frames until you’re ready to render your project. You can add different filters, fix defects manually, and undo previous changes at any time before your final render. One huge benefit to this process is that you can grade and restore your films simultaneously.
We’ve designed DustBuster+ for all types of restoration projects. From 8mm home movies to professional feature film restoration, DustBuster+ fits seamlessly into all types of workflows. For example, you can use DustBuster+ inside BlackMagic Design’s Davinci Resolve with our custom plugin.
For the professional community, we’ve added the Annotator to DustBuster+. With Annotator you can develop your film restoration plan before you start your project. Use Annotator to create detailed restoration plans and documentation for your team or your client. You can generate reports in HTML, XML and XLSX.
