NAB 2008: M.I.R. image retouching now on DVS’s CLIPSTER®
HS-ART announces the release of their moving image retouching tool M.I.R. for CLIPSTER® and the Pronto Family from DVS. M.I.R. is a solution for film retouching and dust busting in a professional environment.
With M.I.R. HS-ART offers an efficient and easy to use solution for quick fixing of any kind of single image defects. Broken images, scratches, hairs, as well as dust are immediately fixed without interrupting the workflow with our click & fix technology.
The integration of M.I.R. in CLIPSTER® as privileged external application allows a smooth cooperation of both applications. The perfect interplaying of the DVS system and the M.I.R. tool allows post houses to process retouching instantly. M.I.R. can be directly started from the CLIPSTER® timeline which allows immediate retouching of the frames. The markers from the CLIPSTER® timeline are shown in M.I.R. and it is easy to navigate between those markers.
M.I.R. works non destructive and allows always to revert to the original image and nevertheless the retouched frames are instantly available on the CLIPSTER®.
The DI workstation CLIPSTER® enables post production facilities to perform all steps of their DI workflow on one system. Being an open system, the DVS flagship provides excellent interoperability with third-party applications. Visitors to the NAB can see a demonstration of the M.I.R. integration on the DVS booth no.
